Walsall midfielder Ronan Maher and forward Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to gain experience and maybe force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

MARVELLOUS ONABIREKHANLEN STOURBRIDGE 3 SEP 2023

Ronan Maher was a second-half substitute as Rushall Olympic secured their first-ever win in the National League North on Saturday afternoon.

A goal from former Saddlers midfielder Sam Mantom midway through the second forty-five saw Liam McDonald's men take all three points at the expense of visitors, Peterborough Sports.

Taking the place of Kai Sanchez-Tonge with just six minutes of the game remaining, Ronan, unsurprisingly, was unable to make much of an impact on a famous day for the Pics.

Meanwhile, Marvellous Onabirekhanlen was an unused substitute as Stourbridge knocked Long Eaton United out of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Luke Benbow, Niall Flint, and Alex Prosser saw the Glassboys book their place in the upcoming Second Qualifying Round, despite initially going a goal behind.
