Joe Foulkes Makes Walsall Debut

Another of the club's academy graduates has made the step up to the first-team.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsCongratulations to Walsall defender Joe Foulkes who made his full debut on Tuesday evening as the Saddlers took on Championship side Blackburn Rovers in Round One of the Carabao Cup.

Foulkes, who spent the last two seasons out on loan at Kidderminster Harriers, enjoyed an incredibly fruitful time with our near neighbors, securing promotion to the National League via the Play-Offs last season, picking up their Young Player of the Season award along the way.

Playing alongside fellow debutants Ross Tierney, the on-loan Motherwell man scoring and setting up another in a debut to remember, entered a solid performance - including an assist - that will no doubt give Head Coach Mat Sadler plenty to think about at the weekend.

Congratulations, Joe!
