Keith Ball

The former Saddlers stopper enjoyed three separate spells with his hometown club.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWe are saddened to learn that former Walsall goalkeeper Keith Ball has died at the age of 82.

Born in Walsall on 26 October 1940, Keith made around fifty appearances across three separate spells for the Saddlers where he formed part of two promotion-winning squads, including the 1959/60 title-winning campaign under Bill Moore.

Also playing for the likes of Worcester City, Port Vale - who he helped to secure the Fourth Division title in 1968/69 - Stourport, Darlaston, Nuneaton Borough, and Kidderminster Harriers, Keith was short in stature but known for his agile displays between the sticks.

We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Keith's family and friends during this sad time.
