Walsall boss Michael Flynn has confirmed the on-loan Newport County man Robbie Willmott is expected to miss the rest of the season through injury.
Speaking shortly after Tuesday evening's goalless draw between the Saddlers and Bradford City, Flynn confirmed that 32-year-old Willmott suffered a torn hamstring during Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Barrow.
Flynn said; "At half-time, he got his scan results and it is a full tear in his hamstring. We thought it was a grade two, which would have been four to six weeks but it looks like his season is done.
"It is another injury for us. He pulled it going to score a goal, just before he was going to tap it in his hamstring popped. That is the luck we are having at the moment."
Willmott, who has made ten first-team appearances since arriving at Poundland Bescot Stadium on loan in January, replaced Oisin McEntee during the first half of last weekend's match before being forced off himself, with Andy Williams taking his place.
