Walsall defenders Joe Foulkes and Peter Clarke, midfielder Sam Perry, and striker Timmy Abraham are currently out on loan as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

OUT ON LOAN
NAME ON LOAN WITH LOAN ENDS
JOE FOULKES KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS 31 MAY 2023
PETER CLARKE OLDHAM ATHLETIC 31 MAY 2023
SAM PERRY LEAMINGTON 31 MAY 2023
TIMMY ABRAHAM OLDHAM ATHLETIC 31 MAY 2023

Peter Clarke was an unused substitute as Timmy Abraham was made to wait until the second-half to participate as Oldham Athletic took on and defeated Dagenham & Redbridge at Boundary Park on Tuesday evening.

Looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeat to FC Halifax Town, the Latics went into the half-time break a goal down following Junior Morias's eleventh goal of the season.

However, in an action-packed second forty-five, goals from former Walsall loanee Nathan Sheron (56'), Josef Yarney (60'), Joe Nuttall (89'), and Ellis Chapman (90'+4) saw David Unsworth's side make it three wins in five games.

The Daggers had got themselves back on level terms via Matt Robinson after eighty-four minutes but could have been even further behind as Nuttall saw a penalty saved twenty minutes before the leveller.

Timmy took to the field in place of Alex Reid with fourteen-minutes of normal time remaining as he, and Saddlers teammate Peter Clarke, continue to struggle for match-minutes.
