MARVELLOUS ONABIREKHANLEN WORCESTER CITY WORK EXPERIENCE

Sam Perry started and played for the full ninety-minutes as Leamington made the trip to the New Bucks Head and took on AFC Telford United in the National League North on Tuesday evening.

The match saw the spoils shared as Dan Turner's first-half goal was cancelled out by Dan Meredith's own goal, the Leamington defender inadvertently putting the Bucks back on level terms seventeen minutes before full-time.

Marvellous Onabirekhanlen was a second-half substitute as Worcester City put three past Shifnal Town as goals from Elliot Hartley (34'), and Aaron Roberts (64'), either side of Asa Charlton's own goal, were enough to render Jeremy Abbey's late goal meaningless.

Marv didn't take to the field until the game had reached the seventieth minute but will have added some welcome experience as he continues to make his way through the early stages of his career.

Joe Foulkes was an unused substitute as Russ Penn's Kidderminster made the trip to Victory Park and took on Chirley in the National League North.

The match was a tight affair with only Jonathan Ustabasi's fourteenth-minute volley separating the two sides as Chorley took all three points.

Meanwhile, Peter Clarke and Timmy Abraham missed out as Oldham Athletic lost 2-1 to Gateshead on Tuesday evening.

Liam Hogan's own goal, along with Marcus Dinanga's second-half strike were enough to cancel out Will Sutton's second-half leveller to see Gateshead take all three points.
