Walsall defenders Joe Foulkes and Peter Clarke, midfielder Sam Perry, and striker Timmy Abraham are currently out on loan as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

OUT ON LOAN
NAME ON LOAN WITH LOAN ENDS
JOE FOULKES KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS 31 MAY 2023
PETER CLARKE OLDHAM ATHLETIC 31 MAY 2023
SAM PERRY LEAMINGTON 31 MAY 2023
TIMMY ABRAHAM OLDHAM ATHLETIC 31 MAY 2023

Timmy Abraham was an unused substitute and Peter Clarke was left out of the matchday squad altogether as Oldham Athletic took on bottom-of-the-table Maidstone United at Boundary Park on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Mark Shelton, the former Hartlepool United man netting his first goal since joining the Latics in January, and Alex Reid helped David Unsworth's side ease their relegation fears.

Joe Foulkes retained his place in the starting eleven as Kidderminster Harriers took on Banbury United at Aggborough.

Sadly for Joe, he was unable to help his temporary team to victory as goals from Henry Landers and substitute Jack Stevens gave the Puritans all three points.

Sam Perry started as Leamington played host to Darlington at the New Windmill Ground on Saturday afternoon.

It was a successful afternoon for Sam, who picked up the Man of the Match award, and his team as a whole as goals from Kelsey Mooney (83') and Jack Lane (90+1') were enough to cancel out Jacob Hazel's sixty-third-minute opener and take all three points for the Brakes.
