Walsall defenders Joe Foulkes, Rollin Menayese, and Peter Clarke, midfielder Brendan Kiernan, and strikers Timmy Abraham and Shay Willock are currently out on loan as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

ROLLIN MENAYESE HARTLEPOOL UNITED 31 MAY 2023
JOE FOULKES KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS 31 MAY 2023
BRENDAN KIERNAN GRIMSBY TOWN JANUARY 2023
SHAY WILLOCK WORCESTER RAIDERS MONTH TO MONTH
TIMMY ABRAHAM OLDHAM ATHLETIC 31 MAY 2023
PETER CLARKE OLDHAM ATHLETIC 31 MAY 2023

Rollin Menayese was among the starters as basement dwellers Hartlepool took on Gillingham in a battle of the bottom two on Saturday afternoon.

Sadly for Rollin, and his temporary teammates, they were unable to extend their gap over the recently-minted Gills, as goals from Tom Nichols and Dom Jefferies saw their side home to victory.

Timmy Abraham was an unused substitute whilst Peter Clarke started, scored, and saw red during an eventful FA Trophy clash with Gateshead at the Gateshead International Stadium.

Levelling the scores following Kamil Conteh's opener, Clarke was unable to prevent the home side from going on to retake the lead via Robbie Tinkler before Greg Olley sealed the win not long after Peter had been dismissed for a second bookable offence.

Joe Foulkes retained his starting spot as Kidderminster faced Dorking Wanderers in the FA Trophy at Meadowbank Stadium.

The match was an entertaining affair with much of the action taking place in the first forty-five as Harry Ottaway gave Dorking an early lead before Zak Brown levelled for the Harriers.

Parity was short-lived, however, as a Ryan Seager brace saw Wanderers take a two-goal lead into the break and, despite Amari Morgan-Smith's goal deep into second-half stoppage time, was ultimately enough to see them safely through to the next round.

Joe was a casualty of the high-scoring first-half as he made way for Alex Penny during the half-time break.

Shay Willock was a second-half substitute as Worcester Raiders took on Shrivenham at Sixways Stadium.

Despite Callum Parsons-McGhee's early opener, goals from Richard Smith, James Timmins, Louis Monaghan, Manny Olaloko, and Luke Gaffney along with an Isaac Cooper hat-trick saw the Raiders secure a comfortable 8-1 victory.

Shay was eventually added to the proceedings in the second-half but didn't see out the contest as he was shown a late red card, this being the only negative during a day of positives for Worcester.

Meanwhile, winger Brendan Kiernan was an unused substitute as Grimsby Town were hammered five-nil away to Swindon Town.

Not exactly helped by Danny Amos' red card, goals from the returning Charlie Austin, Marcel Lavinier, Jonny Williams, Ronan Darcy, and Saidou Khan were more than enough to secure the victory for the Robins.
