Brendan Kiernan was named in the starting XI as Grimsby Town traveled to the Abbey Stadium to take on Cambridge United in the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The Mariners were ultimately able to book their place alongside Walsall in the Third Round as an Otis Khan brace either side of Sam Smith's 81st-minute header were enough to disappoint the home faithful.

Brendan played for almost all of the game before being replaced by defender Andy Smith in the second minute of second-half stoppage time, his side unsurprisingly looking to both waste a few minutes and add to the backline.

Rollin Menayese made his first appearance since early October as he was in the starting eleven for Hartlepool's FA Cup - Second Round meeting with fellow League Two side, Harrogate Town.

Taking the lead via Callum Cooke's first Pools goal, the Monkey Hangers went into the half-time break with a two-goal lead as Josh Umerah netted the first of his eventual brace on the way to a welcome win.

Josh Coley got his name on the scoresheet for the visitors in the second-half but ten-man Harrogate, who had seen Joe Mattock dismissed for a foul which led to Umerah's opener from the penalty spot, were already heading out of the competition as the home side had already added a third.

Joe Foulkes retained his place in the Kidderminster starting line-up as Russ Penn's side played host to Gloucester City at Aggborough.

It was a frustrating afternoon for the Harriers as Matt McClure's 51st-minute goal proved to be enough to separate the sides.

Joe played for 78-minutes before being replaced by Tom Owen-Evans as his side went in search of a potentially point-saving goal.

Shay Willock was named on the bench as Worcester Raiders played host to Cribbs at Sixways on Saturday afternoon.

It was a frustrating afternoon for the Raiders as George Kellow's second-half strike secured the points for the visiting side, a frustration made that much bigger by captain Joe Billingham's dismissal just moments before the goal.

Sam Perry, Peter Clarke, Timmy Abraham, Dan Baldwin, and Marvellous Onabirekhanlen were not involved as their sides were either without a game or succumbed to the recent inclement weather.
