Walsall defenders Rollin Menayese and Peter Clarke, midfielders Sam Perry and Brendan Kiernan, strikers Timmy Abraham and Shay Willock, and scholars Dan Baldwin and Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.
Menayese and Kiernan remained in League Two with season-long stays at Hartlepool United and Grimsby Town respectively, whilst Perry joined National League outfit Yeovil Town.
Menayese and Kiernan remained in League Two with season-long stays at Hartlepool United and Grimsby Town respectively, whilst Perry joined National League outfit Yeovil Town.
Abraham and Clarke recently joined Oldham Athletic, whilst second-year scholar Willock is on a short-term work experience loan with Hellenic League Premier Division side Worcester Raiders, as well as forming part of the Saddlers' youth team.
And finally, second-year scholars Baldwin and Onabirekhanlen recently joined Worcester City on initial one-month work experience loans.
On to Saturday's matches, and Brendan Kiernan was named in the starting eleven as Grimsby played host to Doncaster Rovers at Blundell Park.
Despite leading the line, Brendan, who has now made - first-team appearances for the Mariners was unable to find the back of the net for the hour he was on the pitch, as his temporary team slipped to defeat.
Goals from former Walsall loanee George Miller either side of a Harrison Biggins wonder strike, were enough to see Rovers take the three points back up North.
Eventually being replaced by the returning John McAtee - who grabbed a consolation goal eleven minutes before full-time - Kiernan will have to enter several better showing if he is to make his move permanent in January.
In the National League, and both Peter Clarke and Timmy Abraham were named in the starting eleven as Oldham took on Barnet a Boundary Park.
Sadly, for the pair, they were unable to get on the winning side as second-half strikes from Idris Kanu and Harry Pritchard were enough to move the Bees up into seventh as the Latics dropped to a troubling 21st.
Timmy didn't complete the full ninety minutes as he was replaced by Conor Carty with around ten minutes of normal time remaining.
Dan Baldwin and Marvellous Onabirekhanlen were named in the starting eleven as Worcester City made the trip to the Beehive to take on Studley.
Both Dan and Marvellous entered strong showings on the day and were involved in the point-securing moment as the match reached the final few minutes.
City had fallen behind within ten minutes of the half-time break as, following a miscommunication between Harry Lewis and Louis Salter, Studley's Josh Beeson was able to go through on goal and place the ball into the back of the net.
However, with added-on time about to be confirmed, Dan Baldwin's long ball went in the general direction of teammates Billy Shaw, Marvellous Onabirekhanlen, and Bailey Fuller with Marvellous having enough guile to get amongst the scramble and prod the ball home. A superb point for City, and a positive day for the duo.
Elsewhere, neither Rollin Menayese nor Sam Perry were in action on Saturday afternoon, whilst Shay Willock was part of Walsall U18s team which lost to Blackpool in the morning kick-off.
