The Club has confirmed that the kick-off time for the Saddlers' League Two trip to Mansfield Town has been brought forward.
Originally set to begin at 3.00pm the match, which takes place at Field Mill on Saturday, 15th October will now kick-off at the earlier time of 1.00pm.
In an update issued via their official website, Mansfield Town have confirmed that the change in order to combat soaring energy costs, their statement reads; The club is endeavouring to mitigate the forthcoming, considerable increase in energy bills.
As part of these efforts, the earlier kick-off time will enable the club to discern whether significant savings can be made on floodlight usage and other energy costs.
Moreover, following the trial of this change in kick-off time, the club will be able to better determine whether an earlier kick-off on a Saturday would have an effect on prospective attendances.
Tickets for this match will go on sale at 10.00am on Tuesday, 27th September.
