The Club has confirmed the signing of forward Jonas Mukuna, who arrives at Poundland Bescot Stadium on a one-year contract.
The 17-year-old has been on trial with the Saddlers since the start of pre-season and featured in a number of friendlies ahead of the new campaign.
Mukuna progressed through Leyton Orient’s academy before a brief spell with Queens Park Rangers, after which he last season with Sutton United before leaving at the end of the season.
Speaking via the club's official website, Head Coach Michael Flynn insisted he's been impressed with Mukuna and is happy to add him to the squad.
Flynn said; "I am pleased to add Jonas to the group. He was with us for the majority of our pre-season and he showed the coaching staff and I some of the qualities that he has as a player.
"He is still very young and very raw so we have got to manage him correctly and we want him to keep his feet firmly on the ground.
"The hard work begins for him now as he has to kick on and show us that he is ready to take his chance when it is handed to him."
