The EFL has confirmed that Alan Young, who is based in Cambridgeshire, will be the man in the middle, whilst Mark Derrien and Marvyn Amphlett have been named assistant referees. Daniel Lamport will act as Fourth Official.

Referee Young is yet to take charge of a competitive game this season but issued some seventy-six yellow cards across nineteen games last season.

He also produced the red card on four occasions and pointed to the spot six times.
