The EFL has confirmed that the draw for Round Two of the Carabao Cup will take place later this evening.
Set to be broadcast on Sky Sports Football shortly after the live clash between Sheffield Wednesday v Sunderland, host Mark Chapman, will be joined by former Owls’ striker Clinton Morrison and Sunderland hero Michael Gray.
The thirteen Premier League Clubs not competing in European competitions enter the Cup in Round Two alongside recently relegated Burnley and Watford from the Sky Bet Championship.
The Carabao Cup remains regionalised in the early rounds with the draw split into a southern and northern section until Round Three with Round Two set to take place during the week commencing Monday, 22nd August.
