Walsall's Bescot Stadium to be Used as Park & Ride During the Commonwealth Games

The Poundland Bescot Stadium will play a minor role in the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

The Club has confirmed that, during the Commonwealth Games, the car parks at Poundland Bescot Stadium will form part of the Park & Ride scheme for the games.

As a result, parking will be limited at the stadium for supporters visiting the Club Shop or Ticket Office on the days the Park & Ride facility is in operation.

The Club will continue to accommodate fans in a designated area and you will be directed by stewards on arrival.

The dates the Park & Ride will be in operation are as follows:

  • Thursday, 28th July
  • Tuesday, 2nd August
  • Wednesday, 3rd August
  • Thursday, 4th August
  • Friday, 5th August
  • Sunday, 7th August
  • Monday, 8th August

The Club has also confirmed that the Bescot Market will not be open on Sunday, 7th August with officials wishing to thank you for your cooperation.
