As Saddlers boss Michael Flynn continues to prepare for the 2022/23 League Two campaign, work has begun to rebrand Bescot Stadium.

The stadium has been known as the Banks's Stadium since the brewing company, which is now part of Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company, agreed terms on a deal which saw them become the first-ever sponsor of the stadium in 2007.

However, after more than twenty years of sponsorship, it was announced that locally-based discount retailer Poundland would be assuming the naming rights to the ground, with the club now playing at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

Posted across the club's social media, images confirm that work to rename the ground is well underway, with the old Banks's lettering being taken down in favour of new signage, with the ground officially changing name yesterday.
