Former Walsall loanee Reece Devine has been named among a group of players set to leave Manchester United when their current contracts expire at the end of June.

Featuring alongside the likes of D’Mani Mellor, Edinson Cavani, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Paul McShane, Paul Pogba, Connor Stanley, and Paul Woolston, Devine is believed to be close to securing a new club with United confirming he has received support in order to secure a new home.

20-year-old Devine, who enjoyed youth spells with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City before joining United, spent the first-half of 2021/22 on loan at Scottish Premiership side St. Johnstone but was recalled during the January Transfer Window.

The left-sided defender made ten first-team appearances across all competitions whilst with the McDiarmid Park side, with three appearances coming in the Europa League, including a famous one-all draw with Galatasaray.

Reece went on to make eight first-team appearances during an injury-hit spell at Banks's Stadium, and will be hoping to secure much more football during the upcoming 2022/23 campaign.
