Congratulations to Rushall Olympic who have won this season's Walsall Senior Cup, after defeating Sporting Khalsa by two-goals-to-nil at Banks's Stadium on Thursday evening.

The Pics, who are managed by Liam McDonald, enjoy a solid recent history in the tournament with the Dales Lane side winning two of the last three tournaments, including Thursday's triumph.

Sporting Khalsa, a community club that boasts over twenty teams at various levels of the game, were dealt a hammer blow just six-minutes into the game as goalkeeper Sam Arnold was sent off for a foul on Rackeem Reid, forcing striker Josh McKenzie to take hos place as they hadn't named a substitute 'keeper.

Rushall's goals arrived via Tom Thorley and Kristian Green, the duo netting either side of the break, with their opponents unable to get themselves back into the game as the Pics eased to victory.
