Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis is with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

Joe Foulkes retained his place in the Kidderminster starting eleven as they played host to Kettering Town on Bank Holiday Monday.

Looking to build upon their recent two-all draw with Chester, the match would be another frustrating affair for Russ Penn and his Harriers as neither they nor their opponents were able to make a breakthrough with the sides having to settle for a share of the spoils.

Foulkes played for over ninety-minutes before being replaced by Keith Lowe in the fifth-minute of second-half stoppage time as Kidderminster went in search of a late winner, though that was ultimately not to be.

Joe Willis was also named in the starting eleven as Bromsgrove Sporting played host to Stratford Town with a view to easing their relegation worries as they sat just a few points above the danger zone ahead of kick-off.

As with Foulkes' Harriers, Willis' Rouslers had to settle for a point as Matt Barnes-Homer's first-half goal was cancelled out by Denness Barrett's leveller just ten-minutes later.

Joe Willis played for the full ninety-minutes but was unable to help his side return to winning ways as attention now turns to their upcoming clash with Hitchin Town.
