PRE-MATCH VIEWS
After securing ten points from a possible fifteen, the Saddlers arrive at this weekend's clash with Barrow in search of more much-needed points and a continuation of the form which has allowed them to move away from the relegation zone.

Under Michael Flynn, the Saddlers have begun to show the level of form required to compete with the teams currently battling for promotion, giving fans something to get behind as they look ahead to the future.

Opponents Barrow currently sit just one place above the relegation zone and will arrive at the match on the back of a narrow defeat to Bristol Rovers, a result which saw them extend their winless run to five league games.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Saddlers and Bluebirds have met on thirty-five previous occasions and its Walsall who hold an overall lead having won fourteen times compared to Barrow's eleven.

There have also been a total of ten draws over the history of the fixture, a history which began at Fellows Park on Saturday, 4th February 1922 as the two sides faced-off in a Division Three (North) clash which saw the Saddlers secure the win by three-goals-to-one.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE
The EFL has confirmed that Leigh Doughty will be the man in the middle, whilst Natalie Aspinall and Mark Dwyer have been named assistant referees. Scott Oldham will act as Fourth Official.
