Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis is with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

Joe Foulkes was a second-half substitute as Russ Penn's Kidderminster played host to AFC Fylde at Aggborough on Saturday afternoon.

Sadly for Joe, who came on to replace recent arrival Ryan Nolan at the 64-minute mark, he was unable to get his team back on level terms as Nick Haughton's fifth-minute goal was enough to separate the sides.

Joe Willis was also named on the bench on Saturday as Bromsgrove Sporting took on Coalville Town at the Victora Ground.

And, as with Foulkes, Willis had to wait until the second-forty-five to see action as he replaced Jordan Goddard with the Saddler tasked with getting his team back on level terms after Tim Berridge had opened the scores for the visitors with fourteen minutes played.

Joe was unable to make the difference as the Rouslers also slipped to a narrow defeat, both young Saddlers currently struggling to secure much in the way of match-minutes as we near the business end of the season.
