Match Stats: Walsall 1 Bradford City 2

Here are the Match Stats from the Saddlers' League Two meeting with Bradford City.
The match, which took place at the Banks's on Tuesday, 25th January, saw the Saddlers look to return to winning ways after failing to win any of their last four league games, including last weekend's defeat to Exeter City.

Sadly for the Saddlers, their recent pattern of form continued as, despite creating the majority of efforts on, or towards, goal, they ultimately fell behind with thirty-seven minutes played as Matt Daly scored his first goal in a Bantams shirt.

The second-half got off to something of a slow start but burst into life shortly before the hour mark as on-loan Barnsley man George Miller was the beneficiary of some good fortune as a Zak Mills shot deflected off him, wrong footing the goalkeeper, and crossed the line, levelling the scores.

Walsall received a well-placed kick in the plums just three minutes from time, as referee Benjamin Speedie awarded Bradford a penalty for an apparent handball by Zak Mills. Former Saddler Andy Cook more than happy to oblige from the spot.
