Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Matthew Taylor's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis is with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

Midfielder Joe Willis was an injury-time substitute as Bromsgrove defeated Lowestoft Town 3-1 at the Victoria Ground. Willis, who has been pulling double duty for the Rouslers and Walsall reserves, coming on after ninety-two minutes.

Goals from former Walsall striker Connor Taylor (4'), Toby Raison (74') and former Walsall scholar Will Shorrock (90+1'), who also assisted in Hereford loanee Raison's goal, were enough to cancel out Ryan Jarvis' leveller and secure all three points.

Meanwhile, Saddlers youngster Joe Foulkes missed Kidderminster's clash with Gloucester City on Saturday afternoon, the right-sided defender picked up an injury during the Harriers' midweek victory over Kettering Town.

The match, which was played out in front of some 2,212 fans at a bouncing Aggborough, ended all-square with neither side able to break the deadlock.
