We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Walsall defender Jamie Vincent, who has died at the age of 46.

Wimbledon born Vincent made fifty league appearances during two spells at Banks's Stadium, the first coming in the form of a twelve-appearance loan spell in 2003/04 before he returned on a permanent deal in 2009/10.

Jamie made almost 500 league appearances during a career which saw him play for the likes of Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Huddersfield Town, Portsmouth, Derby County, Millwall, Swindon Town and Aldershot Town.

We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Jamie's family, friends and fans during this sad time.
