Here we take our latest look at how Walsall's loan stars are getting on.

Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Matthew Taylor's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis is with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

Joe Foulkes continued his return from injury as he was named on the substitutes bench as Kidderminster faced Boston United in the Third Round of the FA Trophy at the Jakemans Community Stadium.

Coming onto the field with twenty-minutes of normal time remaining, Joe could do little to help his side through to the next round as goals from Jake Wright (11'), Danny Elliott (29' and 59') and Jordan Preston (80') were enough to cancel out Jaiden White's (68') strike as the Pilgrims went through.

Joe Willis retained his place in the starting XI as Bromsgrove faced Hednesford Town at Keys Park on Saturday afternoon.

After an uneventful opening forty-five, the game bust into life in the second half as the clubs scored a combined four goals, with the spoils ultimately being shared.

A Lewis Ison penalty opened the scoring for Hednesford five-minutes into the second-half before Demetri Brown (62') levelled the scores with former Saddlers scholar Will Shorrock putting the visitors into the lead just five-minutes later.

Sadly, for Sporting, they were unable to hold onto their lead before full-time as former Walsall midfielder Reece Flanagan put the game back on level terms with a spot-kick in stoppage time.

Though a disappointing end to the game, the result sees the Rouslers make it eight games unbeaten, a strong run no matter what the level.
