Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Head Coach Matthew Taylor's first-team plans.

As Joe Foulkes edges ever-closer to a potential return to Kidderminster Harriers, teammate Joe Willis is in the early stages of a spell with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

After going straight into the Rouslers side which defeated Barwell at the weekend, Willis retained his place in the team as they travelled to Westwood Road and faced St. Ives Town.

The match was a high-scoring affair with the teams ultimately having to settle for a share of the spoils as, despite leading by a goal-to-nil in second-half stoppage time, the home side were pegged back late on.

Michael Richens had given St. Ives the lead with just three minutes on the clock, only to see Jack Newell level twenty-four minutes later.

Dylan Williams pit his team back into the lead with fourteen minutes of normal time remaining but was eventually forced to settle for a point as Nathan Hayward dragged the Rouslers back onto level terms in the third minute of second-half stoppage time.

Joe Willis played for the full ninety minutes again, and will be looking to continue his spell in the starting XI as they take on Rushall Olympic at Dales Lane next Tuesday evening.
