The club has confirmed that young midfielder Joe Willis has today been recalled from his loan spell with Vanarama National League North outfit Leamington.

Joe, who only recently extended his stay with the Brakes for a further month, has already found a new temporary team as he has now joined Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting, until Sunday, 9th January 2022.

The 20-year-old, who made one appearance for the Saddlers before his loan spell at the New Windmill Ground, spoke to club journalists and insisted he is looking forward to his latest challenge, and hopes to gain more first team experience.

Speaking via the club's official website, Joe said; "I’m looking to go there and play as many games as possible. I’m looking to go there and get as much experience as possible and try and score some goals as well.
"I’m going there to help them push up the league and hopefully get some game time for myself. The advanced midfield position that I played in for the development side suits me more.
"The eight or ten role, getting in behind the striker is what I like to do and what the Bromsgrove manager wants me to do for him, so I am going to go there and try to replicate those sorts of attacking performances for him and try and get some goals and assists."
