Pre-Match News & Views

After securing an unbeaten October, where they won three and drew three of their six League Two outings, Matthew Taylor and his mid-table Saddlers now look ahead to this weekend's Emirates FA Cup - First Round clash with King's Lynn Town.

There is no doubt that the Saddlers are in a good place at the moment, an unbeaten run along with a steady rise up the table have given the faithful plenty of reasons to be cheerful, a spell they'll be keen to continue this weekend.

Opponents King's Lynn currently sit in the National League relegation zone, having won just two of their thirteen outings, and are in dire need of an ego-boosting win to potentially turn things around, or at least begin on the road to safety.

As such, the Saddlers will have to be at their best if they are to avoid an early exit for the world's oldest domestic cup competition when they visit the Linnets' Walks ground on Saturday afternoon.

Man in the Middle

The EFL has confirmed that Robert Lewis, who is based in Shropshire, will be the man in the middle, whilst Anthony Da Costa and Declan Ford have been named assistant referees. Andrew Humphries will act as Fourth Official.
