Walsall have confirmed the signing of former Tranmere Rovers attacker Otis Khan, who joins on a short-term deal.

26-year-old, Ashton-under-Lyne-born Khan spent last season at Tranmere Rovers where he played forty-nine times and helped them reach the Play-Offs.

Khan began his career at Sheffield United and enjoyed loan spells at Buxton, Matlock Town, and Barrow during his time at Bramall Lane. Otis left the Blades in January 2016 and enjoyed a short spell with Barnsley.

In the summer of 2016, he joined Yeovil Town in League Two, spending two years at Huish Park and scored 18 goals in eighty-seven first-team appearances.

Khan’s form attracted the attention of Mansfield Town who signed him for an undisclosed fee in June 2018. He netted four times during his spell at Field Mill prior to a loan move to Newport County in January 2020.

Last season’s spell at Tranmere followed before his departure from Prenton Park in the summer.
