Loan Watch: Joe Foulkes Starts as Kidderminster Begin With a Win

Here we take a look at how the currently loaned out Saddlers are getting on.

Walsall defender Joe Foulkes, who penned his first professional contract alongside Danny Coogan in June, is currently the only Saddler out on loan as he recently joined Kidderminster Harriers on a short-term deal.

Scheduled to remain with the Harriers until early January 2022, Joe made his Vanarama National League North debut as the Harriers took on and defeated York City at their hosts' LNER Community Stadium.

Former Saddlers winger Ashley Hemmings put the Harriers into the lead with a little over 20 minutes on the clock, before former Newcastle United player Mackenzie Heaney levelled the scores within a minute of the second-half getting underway.

Sam Austin restored Kidderminster's lead with two-minutes of normal time remaining as Russ Penn's side opened their 2021/22 campaign with a welcome win.

Joe Foulkes played for the whole of the game and entered a promising performance as he continues to make the most of his first chance to play first-team football.
