The club has confirmed the signing of Mansfield Town defender Rollin Menayese, who arrives at Banks's Stadium on a season-long loan.

23-year-old Menayese, who is the club’s eleventh signing of the summer, began his career in Cardiff City’s youth set up, captaining the Bluebirds’ Under 18s side.

The six-foot-three defender left Cardiff midway through the 2016/17 season and joined Weston-super-Mare, where he made twenty-two appearances before moving to Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2017.

The centre-half made a handful of appearances before he signed for Swindon Town on loan in 2018. During the 2018-19 season, Menayese enjoyed a loan spell at National League side Aldershot Town.

His third season at the Memorial Stadium was where he made his breakthrough and became a regular in the side.

Rollin left Bristol Rovers on a permanent basis in July 2020 and joined Mansfield, who were then managed by his former boss Coughlan. Six months later, he was loaned out to Grimsby Town.

He featured 21 times for the Mariners and was a standout player in their squad. Menayese has also been capped for Wales at Under 16 and Under 17 level.
