"I'm Over the Moon" - Zak Mills Delighted as He Switches to the Saddlers

The Saddlers' newest recruit has spoken of his desire to achieve success in WS1.
Zak Mills is a Saddler.
Following the news that he'd become the Saddlers' seventh signing of the summer, Zak Mills has spoken of his desire to hit the ground running.

The club had already confirmed the arrival of Conor Wilkinson, Joss Labadie, Manny Monthé, Jack Earing, Brendan Kiernan, and Ash Taylor, so Zak is not the only fresh face in WS1.

The 29-year-old, who joins the club after leaving near-rivals Port Vale earlier this month, has a wealth of experience both in League Two and at National League level and will be a welcome boost to the Saddlers' backline.

Peterborough-born Mills described what he will bring to the team, admitting he is hoping to bring success to the club, and may even be able to provide a few goals and assists as he also likes to break forward in attack.

Speaking via the club's official website, Zak said; "I’m over the moon. It got done quite quickly, I met the manager and decided that I want to be part of this journey.

"I want to bring everything I can to the team. First and foremost, I’m a defender, I like to get forward if I can, but any value I can add to a successful team is what I’m hoping to achieve here."
