Watch as Walsall's new Head Coach Matt Taylor speaks via the club's official YouTube Channel - Saddlers TV and discusses his decision to leave Tottenham in favour of a move to the Saddlers.

39-year-old Taylor, who replaces Brian Dutton in the Banks's Stadium hot seat, has a huge task ahead of him as he seeks to guide the team towards the top of the table following last season's worst-ever finish.

The former midfield man brings a wealth of playing experience to the role having made over 650 league appearances during a playing career that saw him turn out for Luton Town, Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers, West Ham United, Burnley, Northampton Town, and Swindon Town.

But he is under no illusions as he looks to hit the ground running, with Saddlers fans set for a busy few weeks and months ahead of the upcoming 2021/22 League Two campaign.
