Joss Labadie 'Buzzing' as He Signs For the Saddlers

The Saddlers newest recruit has had his say.
Joss Labadie is 'buzzing' at being a Saddler.
Walsall's second signing of the summer, Newport County midfielder Joss Labadie, has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to move to the Banks's.

30-year-old Labadie, who joins Leyton Orient striker Conor Wilkinson in making the move to the Midlands, has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal with the club.

After spending the last five seasons with the Exiles, being named as captain for four of those years, Joss is excited to take on a new challenge, insisting he has arrived at an 'amazing' club.

With the club's vision being laid out to prospective new arrivals, Joss joined Conor in praising new head coach Matty Taylor, insisting the new gaffer is a big part of him deal with the club.

Speaking via the club's official website, Joss said; "I’m buzzing to be here. It’s an amazing club, with an amazing stadium and an amazing manager.

"I can’t wait to get started. The club in itself is a League One club for me and I want to try and play my part in getting us to that level.

"I had a meeting with Matt and it was really productive, really positive and the prospect of playing under him with his ideas and philosophy was very attractive."
