Brighton Added to Walsall's Papa John's Trophy Group

Walsall's fixture list is almost complete as the draw to for the group stage of the EFL Trophy has taken place.

The EFL had already assigned three teams to the various groups for Round One of the Papa John's Trophy, with an elite team added during Thursday's draw.

Matthew Taylor's Saddlers had already been placed in Southern Group D alongside League Two rivals Forest Green Rovers and Northampton Town, with a so-called elite team added earlier this afternoon.

 

Joining the Saddlers, Cobblers, and Rovers will be Brighton & Hove Albion, who will be travelling to all of their games, with the dates to be confirmed in due course.
