Following the news that he'd become the latest to join the club, new Walsall winger Brendan Kiernan has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to move to WS1.
Kiernan, a well-travelled winger, has turned out for the likes of AFC Wimbledon, Bromley, Staines Town, Ebbsfleet United, Lingfield, Hayes & Yeading United, Hampton & Richmond Borough, and Welling United.
The 28-year-old has spent the last two seasons with Harrogate having joined the club in 2019. He scored seven goals in his first season, helping the Wetherby Road side to a second-place finish in the National League before they went on to secure promotion to the EFL.
Following promotion, Brendan went on to play thirty-five times last season, scoring six goals in all competitions, including a hat-trick in a thrilling 5-4 victory over Cambridge United back in April.
Speaking via the club's official website, Brendan admitted he is looking forward to the challenge as he begins a new chapter in his career, he said; "I’m looking forward to joining the club, and I’m excited about being here.
