The match, which took place at the Mazuma Stadium, saw the Saddlers looking to add to their draw with Oldham Athletic whilst the Shrimps were hoping to bounce back from their defeat to Leyton Orient.
The Saddlers had several goal-scoring opportunities during the first-half and were thankfully able to convert one of them as Josh Gordon gave his side the lead, grabbing his fifth goal of the campaign eight minutes before the break.
Sadly for the Saddlers they were ultimately unable to hold onto their lead as Carlos Mendes Gomes headed the ball home with around ten minutes of normal time remaining to secure a share of the spoils for his side.
