George Nurse Returns to Bristol City as Parent Club Activate Recall Clause

Walsall have been dealt a blow as a loanee has been recalled by his parent club.
Walsall FC have confirmed that on-loan Bristol City defender George Nurse has returned to his parent club after the Robins activated the January recall option in his season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old featured thirteen times in all competitions for the Saddlers, scoring once against Bradford City back in October.

City have confirmed that Nurse will join the club's Under-23s and continue his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained while in WS1.

We would like to join Walsall FC in thanking George for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
