Saddlers Trio Named in the League Two Team of the Week

Three Saddlers have been recognised for their performances over the weekend.

Walsall manager Darrell Clarke and midfielders Rory Holden and Wes McDonald have been named in the League Two Team of the Week following the Saddlers' 3-1 victory over Tranmere Rovers at the weekend..

Goals from Elijah Adebayo, Wes McDonald and Dan Scarr saw Rovers' five game winning run come to an end whilst also seeing Walsall return to winning ways after a spell of indifferent form.

Along with Darrell Clarke being named Manager of the Day as he led his side to three welcome points, the trio are joined in the team by a host of the league's brightest and best including former Saddlers stopper Richard O'Donnell.
