After playing out a one-all draw with Newport County over a week ago, the Saddlers were back in action and looking to secure three much-needed points as they took on Boro during a rare Wednesday evening outing.
Following a goalless first forty-five it would be the visitors who would grab the first goal of the game as former Saddlers loanee Aramide Oteh slotted home from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Jack Rose had felled Tom Pett inside the area.
Thankfully for the Saddlers they would ultimately be able to take at least a share of the spoils as the returning Josh Gordon slammed the ball home from the penalty spot during the first minute of five added on at the end of the second-half.
