Loan Watch: Tom Leak Started as the Romans Faced the Tudors

Here we take another look at how the Saddlers' loan stars are doing as they enjoy a spell away from the club.
Central defender Tom Leak remains the only Saddler out on loan as he continues his short-term spell with National League South outfit, Bath City.

Tom, who was a second-half substitute as the Romans faced Slough Town last weekend, was named among the starters for Saturday's National League South clash with Hemel Hempstead Town.

Bath had endured a tough start to the 2020/21 campaign heading into Saturday's outing, losing three and winning just one of their five league outings, a run which put them firmly amongst the strugglers as this stage of the season.

Sadly, Tom was unable to help his temporary team back to form as, despite Donovan Wilson's thirteenth-minute opener, goals from Matt Bateman [P] (22') and Reggie Young (80') saw the Tudors add to the Romans' woes.

With the schedule continuing to give teams little time to dwell, attention now turns to Tuesday evening's away visit to Dorking Wanderers, where the Romans will be looking to secure an all-too-rare three points.
