George Nurse Named Among the Nominees for October's Goal of the Month

On-loan Bristol City defender George Nurse is up for an award.
Walsall defender George Nurse has been named among the nominees for October’s Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award for his strike against Bradford City on 20th October.

On loan from Dean Holden's Bristol City, Nurse produced a fine solo run from just inside his own half before unleashing a strike from 25-yards out which cannoned in off the post leaving former Saddlers stopper Richard O'Donnell helpless.

The 21-year-old is up against Newport County’s Scott Twine, who is nominated for his goal against Cambridge United, and Oldham Athletic’s Zak Dearnley, who bagged a superb goal against Carlisle United.
