Loan Watch: Saturday, 17th October 2020

Here we take another look at how the Saddlers' loan stars are doing as they enjoy a spell away from the club.
Central defender Tom Leak remains the only Saddlers player currently out on loan as he continues his one-month spell with National League South outfit, Bath City.

Tom, who helped the Romans secure a place in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup with a win over Slough Town in midweek, was named in the starting XI to face Dartford on Saturday afternoon.

Sadly for Tom he was unable to maintain his unbeaten start to life at Twerton Park as he and his temporary teammates fell to Afghanistan international midfielder Noor Husin's strike seven minutes into the second-half.

The match itself endured a lengthy delay between the halves as one of the referees was unable to continue, resulting in a thirty-five minute delay as a replacement was found.

Bath's next fixture takes place at Twerton Park next weekend and will see them come up against Havant & Waterlooville with a place in the First Round (Proper) of this season's FA Cup.
