Walsall manager Darrell Clarke has spoken to the local press following Saturday's League Two draw with Forest Green Rovers.
Following last weekend's Covid-19 related postponement, the Saddlers arrived at the match in search of their second league win of the season, whilst coming up against a fellow unbeaten side in the shape of Forest Green.

However, the Reds were luck to take anything from the game as, despite Coalan Lavery's opening goal of both the game and his season, they were by far second best and were lucky to take a point as Jamille Matt's leveller was all the dominant hosts could manage.

Speaking to BBC Radio WM Sport, Clarke, who saw his side put under massive amounts of pressure for much of the match, admitted they were lucky to take a point as the home side failed to make the most of their dominance.

The manager went on to agree that the team were simply not at their best as they entered by far their worst performance of the season before warning the players to expect a tough week of training ahead of next weekend's outing.
