Walsall FC have issued a reminder to supporters ahead of this weekend's season-opening League Two clash with Grimsby Town.

As the Covid-19 crisis continues to force sports to play behind closed doors the club have asked fans to stay at home and follow the match via other means.

Published via their official Twitter account, the club ask; We'd like to remind fans that Saturday's game against Grimsby Town is a behind-closed-doors fixture! Please DON'T turn up on Saturday! You're (SIC) support is really appreciated but please continue to support us from home!
