EFL 'Made Aware' of Leyton Orient's Positive Covid-19 Test Results

The EFL have confirmed that they are aware of Leyton Orient's recent positive Covid-19 test results.
Following the news that a number of Leyton Orient players had returned positive Covid-19 test results, the EFL has issued a statement, confirming discussions are ongoing.

Orient, who were held to a two-all draw by Mansfield Town on Saturday afternoon, are scheduled to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night, but could face a postponement following today's news.

Neither Walsall nor Orient have confirmed whether this weekend's meeting between the two will go ahead, but are expected to clarify their positions over the coming days.

In a statement, released via a spokesperson, the EFL confirm; The EFL has been made aware of positive test results recorded at Leyton Orient and is currently awaiting the outcome of discussions between the Club and Public Health England which will determine what, if any, action is required outside of adhering to current protocols and guidance.
