Audio: Darrell Clarke Keen to Focus on the Positives Following Cup Exit

Walsall manager Darrell Clarke spoke to BBC Radio WM Sport following Saturday afternoon's outing.
The match saw the Saddlers come up against Championship opposition in the shape of Garry Monk's Sheffield Wednesday as the two sides battled for a place in Round Tow of this season's Carabao Cup.

Clarke, who watched as his side played out a goalless draw before exiting the competition on penalties, spoke to both the written and broadcast media and sought to praise his side as focus shifts to Tuesday evening's EFL Trophy outing.

The manager, who insisted his backline was in fine form, believes his team showed plenty of desire against good quality opposition and could've taken the lead had they been a little more alert in the final third.
