Walsall Secure a Top-Half Finish as League Two Season is Curtailed

Walsall manager Darrell Clarke has guided his side to a twelfth-placed finish as the 2019/20 season has officially come to an end.
Enjoying a five-game unbeaten run before the campaign was suspended, Clarke will now be working to retain the majority of his current squad as he, and his fellow managers, can now prepare for the 2020/21 season..

The Saddlers' most recent outing saw them defeat Play-Off chasing Exeter City by three-goals-to-one at Banks's Stadium as goals from Rory Holden and Elijah Adebayo (2) were enough to dent the Grecians' hopes of securing a spot in the top three.

There is yet to be a difinittive date for the 2010/21 campaign to begin but the Saddlers are set to return to training before the end of June as Clarke looks for his side to reach the new season on the front-foot.
