The Trust to Open Player and Young Player of the Season Voting on Friday

As the world of sport continues it's Coronavirus hiatus the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have agreed to open voting for the 2019/20 Player and Young Player Of The Year award via online streams.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic The Trust remain unsure as to if or when the Saddlers' League Two campaign will be concluded and feel that nothing will be gained from further delaying the voting process.

The Robert Sadler Shield - pictured above - plus a keepsake shield will be awarded to the player who receives the most votes and that player will also be awarded £200 travel vouchers courtesy of Co-Operative Travel.

The Young Player Of The Season will receive a shield, a keepsake shield and £100 travel vouchers, once again courtesy of Co-Operative Travel.

Players eligible for the Young Player Of The Year are those that were 21 or under at the beginning of the 2019/20 campaign.

The Trust would also like to offer their thanks to both Nick Matthews and Steve Thompson for their help with the awards this season.

Voting will begin at 10.00am on Friday, 10th April 2020 and will close at 10.00pm on Friday, 24th April 2020 and the Trust will send the voting portal link via their social media platforms early on Friday morning.

Please be aware that due to the nature of this award the online portal will only allow ONE vote per device so if there are more than one Saddler in each household then you will have to use another device to that of the previous voter.

For fans who currently don't have internet access can vote by calling or texting Trust secretary Steve Davies on 07799835388.

All votes will be counted and verified and the winners of the prestigious awards will be announced on Friday, 1st May 2020.
