Walsall Facing Fixture Pile-Up as Season is Suspended

Following the confirmation that EFL games will be suspended until at least Friday, 3rd April 2020 due to the spread of Coronavirus, Walsall FC face the prospect of rearranging six Sky Bet League Two fixtures, with the 2019/20 campaign set to be extended into May.
Along with several other sporting organisations, both the EFL and Premier League have announced plans to suspend their 2019/20 seasons until next month as several players and members of staff of various clubs have recently tested positive for Coronavirus.

The suspension mean the Saddlers' upcoming Sky Bet League Two clashes with Macclesfield Town (A), Oldham Athletic (H), Mansfield Town (A), Swindon Town (H), Stevenage (A) and potentially Cambridge United (A) will be rearranged for a later date.

The Saddlers have recently enjoyed a strong spell of form, Darrell Clarke's side are five games without defeat, and will be hoping to pick up where they left off last weekend when the campaign resumes next month.
